This pre 1900s dwelling was in a dilapidated condition, prompting the owners to seek a transformation that would bring it up to more modern standards. To achieve this, we undertook an assessment with the goal of improving its Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, aiming for a minimum rating of E. However, we also considered the specific preferences expressed by the owners. During our assessment, we evaluated the feasibility and impact of various measures such as wall insulation (both internal and external) and Solar Photovoltaics, among others, on the potential EPC rating of the property. As a result, we provided the owners with a comprehensive list of viable options to elevate the EPC rating to an E or higher.
